A condition of membership
is to attend at least 4 meetings per annum, we feel this gives
the maximum benefit to our members as it allows us to understand
and trust other members in order to refer them to our contacts
elsewhere. Statistics show that business is built on trust
so the more you get to know each other and the way you work
the more prosperous it will be.
We are busy with many requests from business people wanting
to join RIpley Connections who are unable to so as we have
already got a member providing that service, so to make it
fair to all, we have a rule that if you miss 3 meetings and
are not in attendance on the 4th one, it will mean that someone
else can join in that profession and become a member instead.
A common misconception
is that networking is about selling to the person in front
of you, it's not. It should be about reciprocation, building
and developing long term relationships that will increase
profits over time. Networking is a great way of building contacts,
not just with the person you meet but their contacts and their
contacts contacts!
